Best Practices for a Smooth Integration Between LightSpeed and Tabesto
To ensure seamless communication between your LightSpeed POS and Tabesto system while minimizing errors during order processing, follow these best practices:
1. Keep the LightSpeed App Open on the iPad During Service
Ensure the LightSpeed app remains open and active on your iPad during service hours.
This practice ensures continuous communication between the ordering kiosks and your POS system, reducing the risk of transfer errors.
2. Monitor the Tabesto Counter Tablet
Actively use the Tabesto counter tablet to monitor incoming orders and quickly identify any transfer issues.
By viewing orders in real-time, you can intervene immediately if anomalies occur, preventing delays or order processing errors.
Tip: If an order is not automatically sent to the POS system, you can manually send it directly from the Tabesto counter tablet.
3. Perform an NPERF Test for Your Establishment
It is highly recommended to conduct an NPERF test to evaluate the quality of your Wi-Fi network.
An unstable or slow network can cause communication problems between your POS system and kiosks.
After the test, specific recommendations can be provided to improve connectivity and ensure optimal system performance.

Action Required: Send us a screenshot of your NPERF test results via email for further analysis.
4. Verify Pricing in Your LightSpeed POS
Regularly check and correct, if necessary, the prices of items and sub-items in your LightSpeed POS to match those displayed on the kiosks.
Note: The POS system will block an order if the prices of items and sub-items do not exactly match those configured in the POS.
By following these best practices, you can significantly reduce disruptions between your Tabesto kiosks and LightSpeed POS system, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
